S.N.L. I.M.F. L.O.L.

The cold open from last weekend’s season finale of Saturday Night Live about Dominique Strauss-Kahn is a perfect example of the type of humor that appeals to me.

As a Model United Nations/European Union sim geek in high school and college, I totally get the jokes. Even if you don’t understand what Jay Pharaoh and Kenan Thompson’s characters are talking about, obviously the juxtaposition itself is funny. Taran Killam’s facial expressions are priceless.

I especially love the punchline at the end, given the nature of Strauss-Kahn’s alleged crimes.

About Jonolobster

A self-described "nerd in progress," I geek out about: sci-fi, comics, history, politics, food, entertainment news, cats, and alliteration. A beleaguered blogger, I boldly bloviate between bouts of boredom, buck blandness and blockages, and bombard the blogosphere with blasts of blazing braggadocio.
